In the 1841 Census, William and Abigail were living in Sand, Gairloch with the six children recorded here. Only Lewis has been found after this date - his marriage proclamation in December 1845 gives his address as Sand of Udrigle. None of the family appears to have remained in Gairloch by the time of the 1851 Census, when Lewis had moved to Lochinver, Assynt.
